2 months old already.... and 2 years Already!!

It blows my mind that just 2 months ago I gave birth to such a sweet little boy, these past 2 months have been filled with tears (happy, tired, and worried tears), emotions and love I never knew I could feel, sleepless nights, and fun adventures! Oren and I are so in love with our little man Eli and it grows miles every day! I love watching him grow (and growing fast he is!) and watching Oren be a Daddy... our cup runneth over!! I still cry when I watch this below... :)

Ok, so 2 years?? Last week Oren and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary! Amazing how fast a year flies by! Big shout out thanks to Auntie Keren for babysitting while Oren and I were able to sneak out and peek at our house progress and have a romantic dinner at one of our favorite places... Old Anglers Inn in Potomac MD. It was even nice enough to dine outside and enjoy the amazing early spring that has hit us! We are looking forward to another year filled with love, fun, travel, and family time :)

Just 2 MORE WEEKS....

Until we close and are able to move into our beautiful brand new house on Bliss Dr.! I can hardly wait.... I am chomping at the bit to organize all our stuff ( esp in my new kitchen and pantry!!)... to finally be able to put together Eli's sweet nursery.. and have him sleep like a big boy in his crib, be able to sit in our family room and stare at the beautiful trees that line our back yard, take a nice big bubble bath in my over sized tub with a glass of wine (and while Daddy watches Eli ;) Tehe), and to FINALLY be able to host family and friends without having to set up air mattresses in our family room! I CAN'T WAIT!!! Last weekend we went and chose furniture for our family room (the current family room furniture will go to basement) but of course since it is special order, most of it won't be ready for 12 weeks.... oh well, it will be worth the wait! A week ago we visited the house and took some updated pics....enjoy! :)

My first airplane ride!!!

Eli went on his very first airplane ride when we went to Utah to surprise Grandma and meet his Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles! Oren sadly had to stay behind and work but we had a great time! His cousins LOVED him and it was so sweet to see how he interacted with them, he loved to stare, smile and coo as they talked and played with him. While we were there, my brother Michael and his wife Britney welcomed their #4, Boston Garrett into the family! Eli did so great on the flights... he ate and slept :)
