Sleep??

What is that??? Oh wait, that is the thing you do when you close your eyes and wake up feeling rested right?! It has been 7 weeks since I gave birth to our sweet baby Eli, and what a crazy 7 weeks it has been! Between all the Dr. apt's, the bris, family visiting, healing, all with very limited sleep! I used to be that person that needed AT LEAST 8 hrs of good sleep every night, and with 10 hrs I was a very happy person! Those that really know this.... (Casey and Danielle) you used to make fun of me for going to bed early even at our cousin party hang out's! So it is beyond me why I am still semi functioning and have yet to have a melt down.... (at least I don't think I have...Oren may say other wise!) Regardless of the lack of sleep, feeling as though I am being used for food, changing diapers and a sleep soother... trying to find a moment to even eat something or shower... it is all worth it to spend time with my sweet baby boy! Eli has been a super eater and has jumped from 6lbs 2 oz (what he had dropped to) to a whopping 9 lbs 11 oz (and that was last week!!) His belly is growing, thighs are starting to roll, and his squishy squishy cheeks... I can't stop kissing :)!! Eli has also just started to smile!! :D Even though his first smile was not at us, but at the really cool pictures he LOVES to look at behind the couch where I sit and feed him..... but the next day Mommy and Daddy got smiles as well :) Oren has been very busy at work and loves his cuddle time with Eli :) Our house is really coming along! They are working hard on all of the inside details...this next week they are tiling, putting in the kitchen cabinets and counter tops... lots of little details and I CAN'T WAIT to move in... it looks like the estimated date will be the first week of April!!!
